RFCA Fall Festival!
Hi Farmers! Save the date for the Ravensworth Farm Civic Association Fall Festival from 3 pm-6 pm on October 19th at the Springfield Community of Christ Church.
There will be a BBQ provided by RFCA, a costume contest for kids and pets, and other fun fall activities for all ages. More details to come. We hope you will join us!

October General Membership Meeting
Join us for the General Membership Meeting, at 7:30 pm, 17 October at Springfield Community of Christ Church, 5610 Inverchapel Road, Springfield, VA 22151.
Yard Sale
RFCA will host the Ravensworth Yard Sale on Saturday, October 19th (rain date: Saturday, October 26th) at the Ravensworth Farm Swim and Racquet Club, 5210 Inverchapel Road.
7:00 am - Setup. 8:00 am until Noon - Yard Sale
RFCA will provide morning treats: coffee, hot chocolate, doughnuts, and light snacks.
Garden of the Season
Garden of the Season judging will begin on Monday, October 14.

DEADLINE for submission of the survey is October 20th.
Share your thoughts today – make a difference for tomorrow! Participate in the survey here: The Future of Lake Accotink: Study and Engagement Survey. You have the opportunity to read and provide comments on the 29-page draft study scope.
The county has produced a FLAWED scope of work for a study that WILL NOT WORK FOR OUR COMMUNITY. IT WILL NOT preserve our treasured lake and will either destroy mature tree canopy or put dump trucks on residential streets. This is the same old approach proposed by the same old contractors that got us to where we are today.
Your input is invaluable. By filling out this survey, you can help ensure our lake remains a beautiful and sustainable resource for future generations.
