Boat race at Lake Accotink

Lake Accotink Park wraps around the west and south sides of the neighborhood. It features:

  • A marina with a beach and boats to ride (no swimming)

  • A carousel

  • Mini-golf course

  • Playground

  • Pavilions for parties

  • Miles of trails

  • Volunteers - join the Friends of Lake Accotink Park (FLAP)

Wakefield Skate Park

Wakefield Park is just north of the neighborhood across Braddock Road. It features:

Inddor pool at the Audrey Moore Rec Center

The Audrey Moore Rec Center is in Wakefield Park, just across Braddock Road from the neighborhood. It features:

  • An indoor swimming pool

  • Gym

  • Fitness room

  • Squash/handball courts

  • A pottery studio
